Marine Activities Centre (at Breezes)

Pedal boats and canoes are available free of charge. Daily snorkeling trips to the lagoon by boat are organized and is free for guests of The Palms. Snorkeling equipment, reef shoes and windsurfing are also available free of charge.

Scuba Diving Centre (at Breezes)

Undoubtedly one of Zanzibar’s most professional and experienced diving operations, the Rising Sun Dive Centre (PADI) offers all diving services from beginners to advanced. Learn to Dive courses can be done with the experienced diving instructors who provide personalized instructions on a one-on-one basis. Experienced divers can enjoy one of the most untouched and exciting parts of the Island for diving with a variety of 14 different
dive spots.

Best time to travel

Zanzibar is a tropical paradise with 300 days of sunshine. The monsoon winds provide a pleasant cooling breeze during the hot season from November to March (up to 30 degrees centigrade). Some people prefer the cool season from June to October when temperatures average 25 degrees centigrade.
