"Flight of the Bateleur" - (7 Days)

In combining two of Africa’s greatest known parks, we have carefully selected camps that we know will complement each other in terms of guiding, accommodation, style and camp location. The mighty Rufiji and Ruaha Rivers provide the focal point for most game drives, escorted walks or boat-rides, all accompanied by knowledgeable guides.

To extend your stay in either the Selous or Ruaha, spend a night or two fly-camping with a specialist guide - for more details on the differences between safari operators here, please contact us.

Day 1       Dar es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve

This afternoon, transfer to Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam Airport and connect with the flight to the Selous. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by a guide and transferred to the camp to freshen up. Overnight at Selous Safari Camp.

Selous Safari Camp is located in the area that holds the highest density of wildlife in the Selous Game Reserve and is only forty minutes by light aircraft from Dar es Salaam. The camp gives guests the opportunity to experience the Selous in traditional safari tented style.
