| Day 1 -

Day 2 After an early breakfast, drive about 2 hours to the village of Mto wa Mbu. This small village sits at the foot of the Rift Valley escarpment at the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park and is rich with banana farms and a mixture of African tribal cultures. You are met by a special village guide who conducts a walking tour of the community including a local school, church and farm. Your lunch is in the village, with a mixture of native dishes prepared under the supervision of Serena Hotels. After lunch, you game view in Lake Manyara National Park. The park is best known for large troupes of baboon as well as the wildlife and birds that populate the soda lake. After your game drive, you head to the top of the escarpment for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge on full board basis |

Day 3 You travel to Lake Eyasi today to visit the fascinating Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. These hunter-gatherer tribesmen live today much as they did generations past, depending on what comes their way for their survival. A picnic
lunch is served by the lake and time is spent viewing the wildlife of
the area. Afternoon return to Lake Manyara Serena for dinner and
overnight. |

Day 4 After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. For generations, the Maasai and their cattle have lived in harmony with the wildlife of the Ngorongoro Crater. You visit a Maasai village and then stop at the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you descend 2,000 feet to the floor of the crater for a game drive. With more than 30,000 resident animals in a 102 square mile area, you are bound to have a great game viewing experience. Evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 5 Morning visit to Olduvai Gorge with views of the gorge and a brief visit to the museum. Continue to Serengeti National Park arriving at the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive with dinner and overnight back at the lodge. Serengeti National Park is best known for the migration of more than 1.6 million wildebeest. The migration travels between Kenya’s Masai Mara and Serengeti, following the rain and the fresh grass that the rain provides. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge on full board basis
