Day 1     GOMO GOMO GAME LODGE

On arrival in to Johannesburg International, connect with onward flight arrangements to Hoedspruit Airport (flight for own account)

Note: If your International flight does not connect, then we will arrange an overnight for you at a Johannesburg Airport hotel or hotel in Johannesburg at additional cost - Please advise if needed.

On arrival at Hoedspruit Airport you will be met a representative from Gomo Gomo Private Game Reserve.

Transfer onward to the lodge by road. Enjoy 3 nights on safari in the Timbavati Region of the Kruger National Park area, with daily 4x4 safaris both morning and afternoon / evening. Overnight Gomo Gomo Game Lodge, on full board with daily safari activities as per tariff.

Day 2 & 3     GOMO GOMO GAME LODGE

Early morning wake up call, with tea / coffee before departing for a morning safari with ranger / tracker in 4x4 vehicle on the look out for the Big 5 sightings, as well as numerous other animal and bird life. Return to the lodge mid-morning for breakfast / brunch.

Time at leisure at the lodge, with lunch and afternoon tea & coffee before departing again on safari , which extends until after sundown with a night safari. Return to the lodge for dinner. Overnight Gomo Gomo Game Lodge, on full board with daily safari activities as per tariff.

Day 4     JOHANNESBURG

Following final morning safari and breakfast at the lodge, return transfer by road to Hoedspruit Airport for return flight ( not included) in the afternoon to Johannesburg. On arrival make you way to the Airport Sun Intercontinental Hotel, located just outside the International arrival terminal. Note: Overnight required in order for flights to Maun, Botswana to connect. Overnight Mondior Hotel on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 5, 6 & 7     BOTSWANA - Okavango Delta / Moremi Wildlife Reserve.

Make you away across to the International departure terminal, located just outside from you hotel. Check-in at Air Botswana counter for onward flight service to Maun (flight not included). On arrival in to Maun met by a representative from Desert & Delta Safaris for onward light aircraft transfer (Max. 12 kilograms of luggage permitted only in soft bags)

Note: Any excess luggage required for the remainder of the journey can be flown unaccompanied with Air Botswana to Kasane (extra cost) and can be collected at Kasane before heading through by road to Livingstone.

On arrival at either camp Moremi or Camp Okavango's own air strip, met and transferred to the lodge of your choice. Enjoy 3 nights at either CAMP MOREMI or CAMP OKAVANGO, to include all meals, all land / water based safari activities, local drinks, laundry.

Camp Moremi is situated on the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon in the heart of the Okavango Delta, within the Moremi Game Reserve.

Xakanaxa is renowned as one of the best game viewing areas in Botswana. Shaded by giant ebony trees, the magnificent Moremi tree lodge is an elegant elevated thatch and timber structure consisting of a main lounge, wildlife reference library, dining room and stylishly decorated cocktail bar cooled by overhead punkah-punkah fans.

The large sun deck affords an unsurpassed view of Xakanaxa Lagoon.

A raised deck swimming pool, covered boma and elevated observation platform assures Camp Moremi of its status as one of Botswana's finest safari lodge. Camp Moremi accommodates only 22 guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms.

Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs. Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway.

His and hers towel robes as well as tea and coffee making facilities are also provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Each guest unit has its own private bathroom situated adjacent to the tent and located on the raised platform. Activities at Camp Moremi include tracking big game on morning and afternoon game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, excellent bird-watching, exploring the Xakanaka Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by powerboat.

Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round water wilderness experience. Camp Okavango's unashamed luxury blends with the Africa of old in the elegant thatch and lethaka main lodge buildings.

Meals are silver service at dining tables romantically lit by candelabra. The dining room leads onto an expansive open-air patio for evenings around the open boma. Other lodge facilities include a cocktail bar, lounge, wildlife reference library, a secluded bird-viewing hide, shaded hammocks, and a delightful sun deck and plunge pool for relaxation during the hot midday hours.

Camp Okavango accommodates only 24 guests in intimate exclusivity in East African-style safari tents individually situated on raised teak platforms with en-suite ablution facilities and private sun decks.

Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs. Colorful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway.

His and hers towel robes as well as tea and coffee making facilities are also provided to make guests' stay as comfortable as possible. For those who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Camp Okavango boasts the "Okavango Suite" a thatched cottage offering complete privacy and the option of private game-viewing activities and dining options - ideal for honeymooners.

All game-viewing activities are conducted by experienced resident naturalist guides and include exploring the Okavango by canoe (mokoro) and motorboat. Guided nature walks on the various islands afford an opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness.

Day 8     LIVINGSTONE, Victoria falls - ZAMBIA

Following final morning safari activity return to the lodge for breakfast. Departure again by light aircraft onward to Kasane, by way of a scenic flight over Chobe to Kasane. On arrival met and transfer provided onward by road and short ferry crossing at Kazangula Border in to Zambia. Onward to Livingstone and the mighty Victoria falls for a further 2 nights. Check in to you hotel located at the falls Resort on the Zambian Side of the Victoria Falls. Afternoon sunset cruise on the Zambezi, with drinks and snacks. Overnight at the ZAMBEZI SUN HOTEL, based on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 9     LIVINGSTONE, Victoria falls - ZAMBIA

Following breakfast you will embark on a guided falls Tour of the Zambian side of the falls with an English guide ( approx 1 hours 30mins) Remainder of the day at leisure at the falls. Overnight at the ZAMBEZI SUN HOTEL, based on bed & breakfast basis.

 EAST AFRICA SECTION

Day 10        

Transfer provided to Livingstone Airport for onward flight ( not included and for your account) to Johannesburg. Note: Overnight required in Johannesburg to connect with East Africa arrangements. Overnight at the Mondior Hotel, based on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 11 - ARUSHA

Transfer to Johannesburg International departure terminal for onward flight arrangements (not included) to Arusha / Kilimanjaro. On arrival met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport/ Arusha and transfer to Arusha and the Mountain Village Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Village Lodge.

Day 12     SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to Arusha airstrip for Regional air schedule flight to Serengeti departing at 0845hrs. On arrival at the airstrip at 1025h Met and transfer to Kirawira Serena Camp. Lunch at Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp. Afternoon game drive in Serengeti National park. Dinner and overnight at Kirawira Tented Camp.

Day 13SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drive in Serengeti National park. Breakfast at the Camp. Morning game drive in Serengeti National park. Lunch at the Camp. Afternoon game drive in Serengeti National park. Dinner and overnight at Kirawira Tented Camp.

Day 14     NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Breakfast at the Camp. Transfer to Grumeti airstrip with picnic lunches for Regional air schedule flight to Manyara departing at 1040hrs. On arrival at the airstrip at 1145h Met and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 15    NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Breakfast at the lodge. Game drive with picnic lunches for a full day crater tour. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 16     MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to Manyara airstrip for Regional air schedule flight to Kilimanjaro departing at 1200 hrs. On arrival at the airport at 1220h Met on arrival and assisted to connect onto Air Kenya schedule flight to Nairobi departing at 1345 hrs. On arrival at Wilson Airport, met and assisted to connect to the Air Kenya flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. On arrival at the airstrip, met and transferred to Little Governors Camp. Dinner and overnight at Little Governors Camp.

Day 17 & 18     MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at Little Governors Camp.
 


Day 19     DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the Camp. Morning transfer to the airstrip for the Air Kenya flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson Airport, met and transferred to the international airport for your international departure flight.

Quotation excludes: lunch and dinner in Nairobi except where included above, international /local air transportation, visa fees, international departure tax of US$ 20 per person, incidental tips to hotel/lodge staff, gratuity to tour driver/guide, all items of a personal nature such as laundry and drinks.
