Day 1

On arrival at Cape Town International airport you are met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at The Table Bay Hotel in a standard double room on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2

Day 3

Full day scheduled tour of the winelands including wine tasting and lunch. Overnight at The Table Bay Hotel in a standard double room on bed and breakfast basis

Day 4

Day 5

Transfer to Cape Town airport for your flight to Hoedspruit , departing at 08:40 and arriving at 13:45 ( except Sundays, 07:30 / 11:50). On arrival you are met and transferred to your lodge in the Northern part of the Kruger Park area. Here you will be briefed as to the schedules at the lodge before enjoying a light lunch and taking a brief rest.

At about 15:00 you will be able to enjoy refreshments before heading out on your first game drive, enjoying a sundowner en route. You will return to the lodge in time for dinner, after which you can gather around the fireplace and enjoy the sounds of the African bush before going to bed. Overnight Chapungu Tented Camp on a full board basis including all meals and 2 game activities daily.

Authentically furnished in colonial splendour, handpicked pieces fill the lodge and its five air-conditioned en-suite tents, enhancing the ambience and comforts typical of a bygone era. Enjoy scenic views from the vantage of our elevated deck with an active water hole in close proximity.

Day 6

An early morning wake up call gets you up for coffee and tea before leaving on the morning game drive. You will return to the lodge for breakfast.

There is an option to go on a walk afterwards, but most guests opt to lounge around the swimming pool, read or relax. Lunch is served and more free time for relaxation until your afternoon game drive, followed by dinner.

Day 8

After an optional early morning game drive and breakfast, you are collected and transferred by road via the Mpumalanga Low Veld and some sight seeing en route to the Southern part of the Kruger Park. 3 Overnights at Lukimbi Lodge in a double suite on a full board basis including 2 game activities and a game walk daily.

Lukimbi Safari Lodge is a stunning new lodge situated in the easily accessible southern portion of the Kruger National Park. The challenge was to build a lodge that would look unique and artistic and would reflect the surrounding bush, as well as the spirit of African myths and legends.

This is a lodge with art, color and exciting furnishing, but at the same time your eye is drawn outwards to the beckoning bush beyond.

The openness of the architecture ensures that you are aware of the bird calls and movements of the animals outside. However, the height of the lodge above the river provides a viewing point with a feeling of safety. The raised walkways provide guests with clear and easy access to their suites.

Day 9 Full day at the lodge. Overnight Lukimbi Lodge in a double suite on a full board basis including 2 game activities and a game walk daily. Executive Suites The King Cheetah and Giant Eagle Owl suites each have a separate bedroom, lounge, dining area and two bathrooms. Decks lead from the bedroom and lounge to the inviting private pool below. The pools at these suites are the ultimate in peace and tranquility.

Standard Suites Each suite has air conditioning, fans, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, safe, inside and outside shower and bath with an amazing view. The secluded deck is the ideal place watch birds, see the animals coming down to the river and to relax in a world of your own.

The cool and spacious lounge overlooks the river and the open game plains beyond. On rare cold evenings, a seat near the beautifully decorated lounge fireplace is a great place to enjoy a glass of estate wine. The dining room has a spectacular view over the river and the open grassland.
