Ol Donyo Wuas lies in the untouched area of the Chyulu Hills. The lodge consists of just seven cottages with majestic views of Mount Kilimanjaro which will take your breath away.
 

Ol Donyo Wuas lies in the foothills of the rolling Chyulu Hills between Tsavo and Amboseli, with exclusive access to a quarter of a million acres of one of the few remaining corners of wild Africa. This untouched wilderness where Maasai herdsman live in total harmony with nature will take your breath away.

Originally built as Richard Bonham’s private home, the lodge consists of a beautifully positioned mess/dining room and unique stone/thatch cottages with spectacular views across the plains and out on to Mount Kilimanjaro. The lodge is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Ol Donyo Wuas is hosted by Tamsin Corcoran and Chris Brennan.

Accommodation:

14 guests are accommodated in 7 individual cottages with twin/double beds. Two of the cottages are linked to an extra bedroom to accommodate families with children.

There is a honeymoon cottage although double beds can be organized for the cottages when requested.

The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable and all have a verandah and fireplace. They are built on platforms with an open view out to the plains/Mt. Kilimanjaro. The bathrooms are large and each has a shower.

Game Viewing /Activities:

Game Drives/night drives in open vehicles, Maasai Culture, Walking safaris.

Horse riding. Fly-camping. The area has a large and varied animal population, 34 species of large mammals have been recorded in this area, of which 32 are resident year round.

The lodge has a gallery/shop.
