Each of
the six suites has a large bedroom and an en suite bathroom with bath
and shower.
Each suite, suspended from the edge of the rocky cliff,
has its own private lounge, deck and plunge pool, all offering
unrivalled views.
Three suites have both indoor and outdoor showers.
Overlooking scenic
Leopard Rock, the lodge's rough-hewn sandstone and adobe walls and
ochre-packed roofs cling to the rock face.

Phinda Forest Lodge
| Literally hand-built by
local Zulu people to minimize impact on the rare Sand Forest, these 16
stilted glass chalets float between the forest floor below and
towering Torchwood trees above.
Within these unique habitats no luxury
has been overlooked, from Beechwood and slate floors, to
air-conditioning and hand towels tied with lichen.
At Forest Lodge walls have
become windows opening up to the canopy beyond. Outside, the forest is
alive with creatures, from the tiny red duiker and Suni antelope to the
narina trogon and rare red squirrel. Your private glass chalet beckons the
forest within.

Phinda Vlei Lodge
The new Phinda Vlei
Lodge's six thatch and glass chalets opened in July 1997, similar in
style to Phinda Forest, this intimate and secluded camp overlooks
Phinda's unique wetland system, rich with birds and a favorite roaming
ground for Cheetah.
