Leopard Hills - Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Location:

Leopard Hills is situated in the western sector of the Sabi Sand game reserve bordering the world-famous Kruger National Park and is approximately 400 km due east of Johannesburg.

Leopard Hills, is built on a hill overlooking a natural waterhole and close to the perennial Sand river, lives right up to its name. The lodge is easily accessible either by road (a five-hour drive) or by air, flying either by private charter direct, or on the commercial SA Express. 

Accommodation:

Five luxury air-conditioned suites, accommodating a maximum of 10 guests. With only five beautifully appointed suites, Leopard Hills offers as much privacy as you could wish for. 

Each of the luxurious glass-fronted suites has superb views of the bushveld beyond while air-conditioning and overhead fans provide added comfort against the African summer heat.  

Even the romantic bathrooms that include double indoor and outdoor showers, have windows which open to a glorious view of the passing cavalcade below. 

Enjoy the private verandah of your suite and the views of the bushveld while relaxing over a drink from your fully-stocked mini bar.

Game Viewing / Activities:

From your hilltop sanctuary, you may be lucky to  catch sight of a leopard on the hunt, a breeding herd of elephant or a few gracious kudu.  Many species of antelope pass by within a view of the lodge while in the reserve, Africa's big game abounds.

On safari you may see prides of lion, elephant, white rhino, buffalo, cheetah, wild dog, hyena and many more. Leopard Hills traverses over 10 000 hectares of the world-renowned Sabi Sand game reserve which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park ecosystem.

State-of-the-art Landrovers, specifically designed for Leopard Hills, have individual bucket seats with fold-down armrests, ensuring your optimum safety and comfort.   Early morning and late afternoon/evening game drives in search of Africa's big game, are conducted by your knowledgeable professional ranger. Each day can be different as one explores the endless fascination of Africa's wildlife.

Hippo wallow in the river.  Crocodile bask on a quiet sandy bank.  Overhead majestic eagles keep   watch and at the water's edge and in the riverine bush are hundreds of different bird species. Back in camp you will find the highest standards of service and fine cuisine and not least of all a warm, friendly and fun-filled atmosphere which is the special feature of Leopard Hills.
