Game Viewing / Activities:
| At Impalila game viewing
by boat in the Chobe National Park for Africa's big game is
preferable at sunset. At Susuwe game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles
are done in the Bwabwata National Park. Game sightings in this
cradle of rivers could include vast herds of roaming elephant and
buffalo, lion, hippo, leopard, sable, roan, lechwe and puku for
example. Night drives at Susuwe offer an even closer insight into
the intrigue of the African bush. Our island locations offer
access to Africa's most hidden river treasures. Impalila Island Lodge,
situated at the confluence of the Zambezi and Chobe rivers, provides
access to 120km's of Zambezi river - inhabited only by amazing bird
and fishlife and the odd traditional fishing village of the timeless
Lozi people. The Chobe river cruises reward guests with stunning big
game viewing and excellent fish. We operate a variety of
motorized watercraft - with enough flexibility to enforce our ethos
that our guests can choose how they spend their time with us. Time
spent with us will leave you with a wonderful insight into the
uncharted cradle of rivers which we are privileged to be part of. |
